Beach Volleyball Unico Cushion
Unico became an official mascot for the Japanese Beach Volleyball Federation, along with Hinotori (Phoenix) and Ryujin in 2011. The little unicorn was chosen to represent and promote beach volleyball, inspiring both boys and girls and creating a unisex atmosphere. His design has a unique feature where he has a marking on his legs, possibly made to look like a ball is being hit and flying up.
They sold several items featuring Unico at the sporting events, including this cushion. One side features Unico, and the other has Hinotori and Ryujin.
UNICO x unico Blankets
The collaboration between Osamu Tezuka’s Unico and the interior store unico gave us several items on October 15, 2021, including these blankets with scenes from the original manga. Two types were available from the store, one featuring Unico watching Chao and Shimashima running off and the other of Unico by himself.
Two sizes were available: 80x120cm (for 9,900 Yen) and 120x180cm (16,500 Yen).
UNICO x unico Bedding
This bed linen set was available as part of the collaboration with unico and featured a pattern with Osamu Tezuka’s artwork of Unico. Two colors were available, light green and yellow, and you could purchase the full set or individual items. The above image features the duvet cover, sheets, and pillowcase.
