1981 Unico Keychain by Sanrio
This cute little keychain is pink with Unico sitting on the front surrounded by stars. The other side features the Sanrio logo and copyright info. It’s made of hard acrylic and attached to a chain and clasp opening. There most likely were other colors and designs available, but I have yet to see them.
Beach Volleyball Unico Rubber Keychains
Unico became an official mascot for the Japanese Beach Volleyball Federation, along with Hinotori (Phoenix) and Ryujin in 2011. The little unicorn was chosen to represent and promote beach volleyball, inspiring both boys and girls and creating a unisex atmosphere. His design has a unique feature where he has a marking on his legs, possibly made to look like a ball is being hit and flying up.
They sold several items featuring Unico at the sporting events, including these pink and blue rubber keychains. These sold for 700 Yen each.
HIROMAN’S COFFEE Unico Cafe Keychains
These acrylic keychains were available during HIROMAN’S COFFEE Unico Cafe collaboration from March 20 to May 10, 2021. While you could purchase the items separately, they also came with drink items on the menu. The keychains feature illustrations from the First Grader version of Unico, which includes Ragon the Dragon.
These sold for 660 Yen each (tax included).
The other keychain available at the Unico Cafe was this metal one with tassel. The artwork is unique to the event and features Unico wearing a dandelion crown and surrounded by other dandelions. They used this image for other merchandise as well.
The metal keychain with tassel cost 1,320 Yen.
