The special collaboration with artist Shinichiro Inui will be live on April 28, 2023 (Friday)! Shinichiro Inui is the designer for the brand guernika (ゲルニカ) and well-known for his “ANONYMOUSE” (アノニマウス) series of art. The collaboration with Tezuka World will showcase Osamu Tezuka’s characters in the “ANONYMOUSE” style. Series like Astro Boy, Jungle Emperor, Princess Knight, Black Jack, and Unico will be featured in Shinichiro Inui’s unique style during this collaboration and several styles of t-shirts, posters, and silkscreen prints will be available.
His “ANONYMOUSE” series is a collection of art that raises issues in today’s society. Shinichiro Inui’s designs depict characters with their faces hidden by paper bags as a symbol of “anonymity” that does not reveal their real identities. Mickey Mouse, SpongeBob, Doraemon, Snoopy, and several other characters have also been depicted in Shinichiro’s art.
